THE SERIES
Tonight marks only the seventh meeting between Saint Rose and New Haven. The Golden Knights own a 4-2 lead in the all-time series. Saint Rose has won four in a row against the Chargers, including a 64-50 triumph back on November 16. A win tonight would allow the Golden Knights to sweep the regular-season series for the second year in a row.

Ashley Rath tossed in 18 points and Saint Rose held host New Haven to just 29.9 percent (20-for-67) shooting en route to a 64-50 victory in what marked the NE-10 opener for both institutions on November 16. Senior guard

Ali Johnson wound up with a dozen for the Golden Knights as well. Saint Rose owned a 36-19 lead at intermission and boosted its margin to 19 after Johnson opened the second half by finishing in the paint. However, the Chargers whittled away at their deficit and were within five, 44-39, when freshman guard Monica Schacker drained a 3-pointer with 11:48 to play. Shajuyigbe and Rath then responded with a pair of 3-pointers of their own within the next two minutes and the Golden Knights subsequently led by twin-figures for all but 30 seconds the rest of the way. Sophomore forward Ayana Duncanson registered a “double-double” behind 12 points and a like number of rebounds in just 21 minutes, while freshman forward Bria Moore tossed in nine points and hauled in eight caroms to pace the Chargers.
SCOUTING SAINT ROSE (16-9/13-8 NE-10)
The Golden Knights have won seven of their last 10 games. Saint Rose owns an impressive 12-1 home record this year, including a 9-1 mark in league games. The Golden Knights are outscoring their opponents by a +13.7 margin in Albany. From an overall standpoint, Saint Rose yields just 55.3 points per-game, which ranks second in the NE-10. The Golden Knights are limiting opponents to a league-low 34.3 percent shooting from the floor. Saint Rose additionally paces the NE-10 in blocks (4.6 bpg) and 3FG% (36.3). Rath has been in twin-figures in 16 straight games. She is currently third in the league in scoring behind 17.8 points per-game. Maria Sanchez Gonzalez was inserted into the starting lineup in a 68-62 win at Merrimack on January 17. Since then, the Golden Knights have gone 7-3 and Sanchez is averaging 6.8 points and 8.6 rebounds. She was producing just 1.4 points and 2.5 rebounds prior.
SCOUTING NEW HAVEN (3-22/3-18 NE-10)
The Chargers comes into their regular-season finale on the heels of a 75-65 loss versus Southern Connecticut State on Saturday. New Haven has just one victory in its last 17 games, a 74-62 triumph against American International exactly one week ago. Regardless, the Chargers pace the NE-10 in 3FG made per-game (6.7). They are also second in rebounding (40.0 rpg) and fifth in FT% (74.1). Moore has been a bright spot for New Haven all year. Moore contributes 13.0 points and 7.9 rebounds on a regular basis.
