The Plot: The College of Saint Rose welcomes Mercy College for a non-conference match at Sullivan Field at the Plumeri Sports Complex this afternoon.

Last Meeting (9/27/11): Nine different individuals tallied a point during the Golden Knights 8-0 win. Junior forward Carmelina Puopolo had a goal and an assist to lead the way. Junior keeper Jessica Gerski and sophomore keeper Lauren Minkoff combined for the shutout, as Minkoff made the only two saves of the match in the second half.

Scouting #1 Saint Rose (8-1-2/6-1-2 NE-10): The Golden Knights earned a draw this past Saturday at Saint Anselm after trailing 1-0. With just over 21 minutes remaining, Puopolo found junior midfielder Sydney Bond for the tying score. It marked the sixth time the duo linked up this season. With the assist, Puopolo now has double figures in both goals and assists to lead the Northeast-10 Conference with 34 points (12-10-34). Bond is tied for second in the league with 10 goals and 22 points. Freshman midfielder Kristin Carr has 15 points (6-3-15) that puts her sixth in the conference's scoring column. Gerski has allowed a mere four goals in 11 matches for a NE-10 leading 0.41 goals-against-average.

Scouting Mercy (3-9/0-5 ECC): The Mavericks are most recently coming off a double overtime 1-0 defeat against #11 LIU Post this past Wednesday. The match marked the seventh time this season Mercy has lost by one goal. Junior forward Crystal Mena is fourth in the East Coast Conference with a team-high 17 points on six goals and five assists.

Senior Day 2012: The 2012 seniors are midfielder Marisah Case and backs Molly Harpster and Meagan McKinney. To this point in their career, these three student-athletes are 79-4-4 overall, including 48-2-3 in the NE-10. They have won three regular season NE-10 titles, three NE-10 Tournament Championships, and of course, the 2011 NCAA Division II National Championship.

Up Next: Saint Rose is set to play under the lights in Worcester, MA on Wednesday with a 7:00 pm match at conference foe Assumption.  Mercy continues non-conference road action this Saturday, facing Nyack.  Start time is scheduled for 12:00 pm in Nyack, NY.
