Box Score LAS VEGAS, NM – The College of Saint Rose provided a glimpse of the character within a four-time Northeast-10 Conference champion by traveling some 2,000 miles towards Albuquerque Saturday night and chalking up a 2-1 overtime victory at New Mexico Highlands University.
After the host Cowgirls (0-1) broke a 0-0 deadlock with a strike in the 84th minute, the Golden Knights (2-0) refused to buckle and subsequently evened the game again in the 88th minute. They then registered the game-winner in the final 29 seconds of the first sudden death overtime session to secure the victory.

Senior keeper Shannon Delarosbil came up with three saves for the Cowgirls, while sophomore
Jessica Gerski turned aside five shots on target, including four after halftime, for the Golden Knights.
Overall, Saint Rose produced a 12-11 advantage in shots and generated eight corner kicks, while yielding only two.
Up next, the Golden Knights return home Tuesday to open the NE-10 portion of their schedule against Pace University. Kickoff is set for 5:00 pm from Sullivan Field.
