Box Score SPRINGFIELD, MA – The College of Saint Rose recorded its fourth straight shutout to remain unbeaten on the year with a 2-0 victory at Northeast-10 Conference rival American International this afternoon. The ninth-ranked Golden Knights (8-0-1/6-0-1 NE-10) outshot the host Yellow Jackets (2-6-0/2-4-0 NE-10) 28-10 and engineered 11 corner kicks, including 10 in the first half, and yielded only two.

Jessica Gerski made five saves and turned aside a penalty kick with 16:05 gone by to preserve the clean sheet.
Puopolo found the back of the net with 34:36 elapsed to afford Saint Rose a 1-0 lead at intermission, before Barry added an insurance marker at the 78:09 mark. The speedy striker has now registered at least a point in seven of the team's nine contests to date, despite making only three starts.
For American International, junior keeper Amber Swanston deflected five shots-on-target during the opening 45 minutes, and another four during the final 45.
Up next, the Golden Knights return home Tuesday for a 5:30 pm non-league tilt versus Mercy College at Sullivan Field at the Plumeri Sports Complex. The Yellow Jackets on the other hand will welcome New Haven for a 7:00 pm home NE-10 match Wednesday
