College of Saint Rose Athletics

GENERAL: Transferred from Saint Peter’s College three years ago…Is expected to once again see some time at third base…Listed Ken Griffey, Jr. as the athlete he most admires…Said his parents are the people who have had the most influence on him…Aspires to have a career in law enforcement following his graduation from Saint Rose…Added that helping lead LaSalle to the semifinals of the 2005 state championship tournament has been his best sports moment to date.

AS A JUNIOR: Started 43 of the team’s 45 games, all but one at the hot corner…Finished third on the team with a .282 batting average (37-for-131) while mostly hitting out of the nine hole…Had 13 RBI and 21 runs scored…Was successful in 8-of-11 stolen base attempts…Had nine multi-hit games…Strung together a five-game hit streak during the second half of the team’s annual spring break trip.

AS A SOPHOMORE: Appeared in 37 games and made 27 starts, including 22 at shortstop…Drove in 15 runs and had six extra-base hits…Was 5-for-8 in stolen baseball attempts…Had five multi-hit games on the year and recorded three RBI on two occasions…Named to the NE-10 weekly honor roll (4/13/09) after going 2-for-3 with an RBI in a 6-3 victory at New Haven (4/7/09) and pulling off the same feat during an 11-0 win versus St. Joseph’s, VT (4/8/09)…Followed that up with a 3-for-4 effort in an 11-8 home setback to New Haven (4/9/09)…Also went 3-for-4 with three RBI during a 13-inning, 6-5 loss to Stonehill (4/23/09)…Drove in three runs in a 16-6 triumph at Merrimack (4/25/09).

AT SAINT PETER'S: Appeared in 27 games as a freshman in 2008.

HIGH SCHOOL: Led LaSalle to three consecutive Big 10 titles and the 2005 section II and regional championships…Garnered first-team Big 10 All-Star accolades as a shortstop following his senior year…Was also a second-team All-Area pick…Also lettered in football and basketball…Played for the South Troy Dodgers baseball club as well.
