Biography

GENERAL: Is once again expected to assume the starting second base job…Will also be used as the DH and will most likely hit out of the two hole after batting leadoff a year ago…Played for the Montreal Elite Titans U-19 club in 2008…Batted .377 with 32 runs scored and was named to the All-Star Team at the inaugural Ted Weston Memorial Tournament…Listed Anaheim Ducks center Saku Koivu as the athlete he most admires…Said his parents are the people who have had the most influence on him…Hobbies include playing cards…Works at a baseball camp during the summer in Montreal…Member of Delta Mu Delta, the International Honor Society of Business.

AS A SOPHOMORE: Started 44 of the team’s 45 games, tied for most on the club…Hit .238 (40-for-168) with 22 RBI and a team-leading 28 runs scored…Belted 11 doubles, second most on the squad…Was 8-for-9 in stolen base attempts…Wound up second in the NE-10 with five sacrifice flies…Had nine multi-hit performances, including a pair of three-hit games…Strung together a five-game hit streak (4/10/10-4/18/10)…Hit at a .421 clip (8-for19) with four runs scored and three RBI during that stretch…Named to the NE-10 Commissioner’s Honor Roll for both the fall ’09 and spring ’10 semesters in recognition of academic excellence.

AS A FRESHMAN: Named to the NE-10 All-Rookie Team…Finished 11th in the conference with a team-leading .331 (60-for-181) batting average…Wound up tied for ninth with 14 doubles and tied for 12th behind 60 hits…Paced the Golden Knights with 33 runs scored, 25 RBI and a .448 slugging percentage…Furthermore tied for the team lead with a .392 on-base percentage and was second with 11 stolen bases, in 17 attempts…Was among three players with a team-leading 16 multi-hit performances…Also tied for tops on the club with seven multi-RBI contests…Strung together a nine-game hit streak (3/8/09 – 3/17/09)…Batted at a .395 (15-for-38) clip during that span…Went 5-for-6 with three RBI and a pair of doubles in a 16-6 triumph at Merrimack (4/25/09)

HIGH SCHOOL: Played soccer, volleyball and basketball at Vincent Massey…Was captain of the basketball team and was named league MVP in volleyball…Also led the indoor soccer squad to a league championship.
