GENERAL: Expected to once again anchor the starting rotation…Transferred from Division I Saint Peter’s College three years ago…Mentioned that Andy Pettitte is the athlete he most admires…Said his parents are the people who have influenced him the most…Favorite food is pizza and his favorite movie is “Ace Ventura: When Nature Calls”…Hobbies include bowling…Aspires to be involved in law enforcement and perhaps become a New York State Trooper following his graduation from Saint Rose…Said going to the 2006 Connie Mack World Series in New Mexico with the South Troy Dodgers has been his best sports moment to date…Has a sister along with an aunt and an uncle who attended Saint Rose.

AS A JUNIOR: Second-team NE-10 All-Conference pick…Went 5-2 with 58 strikeouts and 20 walks throughout 60.2 innings of work…Finished eighth in the nation and fourth in the NE-10 with a team-leading 1.78 ERA…Was ninth in the country with 5.63 hits allowed per-nine innings…Finished eighth in the NE-10 with a .180 opponents batting average…Also led the league with 13 runs allowed and was third with only 38 hits allowed…Both of those represent Saint Rose single-season school records (NCAA era)…Was furthermore fourth in the conference with 12 earned runs allowed…Posted the fourth best single-season ERA and third best single-season opponents batting average in school annals (NCAA era)…His opponents’ batting average is the third best single-season mark in school annals (NCAA era)…Was chosen to the NE-10 weekly honor roll (3/29/10) after he tossed 5.0 innings of no-hit ball against 16th ranked Franklin Pierce (3/27/10)…Allowed only three earned runs throughout his last seven appearances that covered 45.2 innings of work…Fanned a career-high 10 batters and allowed only one walk while surrendering just five hits in a complete game 7-0 victory at American International (4/27/10)…Named to the NE-10 Commissioner’s Honor Roll for the fall ’09 semester in recognition of academic excellence.

AS A SOPHOMORE: Went 3-2 with a 4.41 ERA…Made eight starts and three appearances out of the bullpen…Held opposing hitters to a .243 batting average…Allowed only 43 hits, the third lowest total in Saint Rose annals (NCAA era) at the time, in 49.0 innings of work…Finished fourth on the team with 42 strikeouts…Scattered four hits, fanned six and allowed only one earned run throughout 7.0 innings of work in a 5-4 setback to Assumption (5/3/09).

HIGH SCHOOL: Was a first-team All-Area pick for Lansingburgh as a senior in 2007…Played for Dave Bestle…Member of National Honor Society…Also lettered in bowling.
