Biography

GENERAL: Transferred from Post University in Waterbury, CT three years ago…Expected to once again have a starting role in the outfield and bat near the top of the order…Said Derek Jeter is the athlete he most admires…Mentioned his parents as the people who have had the most influence on him…Favorite food is baked ziti…Enjoys kayaking.

AS A JUNIOR: Started 44 of the club’s 45 games…Finished second on the team with a .291 (50-for-172) batting average…Led the Golden Knights and finished tied for 18th in the NE-10 with 11 stolen bases…Also finished second on the squad with 24 RBI and 24 runs scored…Had 11 multi-hit games on the year…Strung together a six game hitting streak (4/6/10-4/11/10) during which he batted .391 (9-for-23)…Named the NE-10 Player of the Week (5/4/10) after hitting for the cycle and going 5-for-6 with five RBI and four runs scored in a win versus Saint Michael’s (4/26/10) and finishing 3-for-5 with a run scored in the second half of a twin-bill at Bentley (5/1/10).

AS A SOPHOMORE: Started 37 contests and played in 39 of the squad’s 48 games on the year…Finished fourth on the team with a .289 batting average (39-for-135)…Also belted four home runs and had 18 RBI…Named to the NE-10 weekly honor roll (4/20/09) after going 3-for-5 with three RBI and a two-run homer in a 6-5, 11 inning victory versus UMass Lowell (4/19/09)…Also went 3-for-5 with a pair of runs scored in a 9-7 setback to Southern Connecticut State (3/14/09) in Florida…Was slotted everywhere except the first and third spot in the lineup, although he hit out the fifth hole for the vast majority of his at-bats…Had 10 multi-hit games…Closed out the season on a six-game hit streak.

AT POST UNIVERSITY: Hit .458 in only 24 at-bats three years ago for the Eagles.

HIGH SCHOOL: Lettered in soccer and wrestling in addition to baseball at St. John the Baptist.
