College of Saint Rose Athletics

GENERAL: Is once again written in as the starting first baseman and is expected to bat cleanup…Should also help solidify the back end of the bullpen…Would like to become an athletics director following his time at Saint Rose…Lists Roger Clemens as the athlete he most admires…Said his father is the person who has had the most influence on him…Favorite movie is “For Love of the Game”…Works as a painter during the summer…Was medically “red-shirted” three years ago and thus still has a year of eligibility.

AS A JUNIOR (2009): Finished tied for seventh in the NE-10 with a team-leading seven home runs…Played in 37 games and started 32, all but one at first base…Hit .210 (21-for-100), but was second on the club with a .420 slugging percentage…Committed only two errors throughout 254 chances…Had eight multi-hit games…Went 3-for-3 with four RBI and a run scored to help the Golden Knights to a 13-11 victory against visiting Merrimack (4/26/09)…Was subsequently named to the NE-10 weekly honor roll (4/27/09)…Had a pair of hits including a home run a day earlier during a 16-6 victory against the Warriors (4/25/09) in North Andover, MA.

AS A SOPHOMORE (2008): Had three appearances, including one start…Worked just 4.1 innings on the year.

AS A FRESHMAN (2007): Made three starts and two appearances out of the bullpen…Worked 20.0 innings…Allowed a run on two hits and fanned three throughout 5.1 innings of relief in the nightcap of a doubleheader at Pace (5/6/07).

AS A FRESHMAN (2006): Made two appearances, including one start…Struck out 10 in 6.0 innings of work…Fanned five in both outings, against Columbia Union (3/8/06) and Minnesota-Mankato (3/12/06)…Did not pitch following the club’s spring trip to Florida.

HIGH SCHOOL: Was a two-time All-Section All-Star…Named a second team All-Star by the Poughkeepsie Journal…Also played basketball for the Patriots.
