GENERAL: Expected to have a primary role near the top of the rotation…Will furthermore make the transition from second to first base this season and bat in the middle of the order…Said his parents are the people who have influenced him the most…His father played baseball at the University at Albany…Listed David Wright as the athlete he admires the most…Said his favorite movie is “Hardball”…Teaches baseball and works construction during the summer…Mentioned that winning the 2007 section II championship has been his best sports moment to date…Aspires to continue his baseball career and eventually coach college ball following his undergraduate career at Saint Rose.

AS A JUNIOR (2011): Made four starts and six appearances in relief…Wound up 2-2 on the year…Recorded 39 strikeouts in just 36.0 innings of work and held opposing hitters to a .221 batting average…Racked up 32 groundball outs and a like number of fly ball outs…Right-handers hit only .192 (20-for-104) off of him…Fanned five and threw 5.0 innings of no-hit ball to collect the victory in a 7-4 Saint Rose win versus Bloomfield (3/9/11)…Recorded another five strikeouts and surrendered only four hits throughout 6.0 innings of shutout ball without figuring in the decision during a 4-3 victory versus Adelphi (4/10/11)…Struck out a season-high eight batters and issued only one walk while scattering five hits over 8.0 innings in a 6-4 triumph versus Bentley (4/30/11)…Named to the NE-10 Commissioner’s Honor Roll for the fall semester in recognition of academic excellence.

AS A JUNIOR (2010): Did not dress due to injury.

AS A SOPHOMORE (2009): Made only six appearances due to injury…Fanned 17 batters and issued only six free passes…Scattered two hits and fanned three during 3.0 innings of work in a 4-2 setback at Newberry (2/28/09).

AS A FRESHMAN: Started 38 games total, 33 at second base and five on the mound…Batted .242 with 13 RBI and eight doubles…Had eight multi-hit games, third most on the team…Went 3-for-3 with a pair of doubles and three RBI in a setback to Wingate (2/9/08)…Wound up 1-2 on the mound and finished second on the club with a 3.27 ERA…Held opposing hitters to a .240 batting average…Recorded 26 strikeouts and gave up 29 hits in 33.0 innings of work…Named NE-10 Player/Pitcher of the Week (2/11/08) after batting .438 (7-for-16) throughout a five-game stretch in North Carolina.

HIGH SCHOOL: Named Suburban Council Player of the Year as a senior after leading the Flying Dutchmen to their first such title in 30  seasons…Was also a first-team Suburban Council pick as a second baseman…Garnered second-team Suburban Council honors as a junior and honorable mention accolades as a sophomore…Was named a second-team pick as a pitcher…Went 7-0 on the mound in 2007…Team MVP…Two-year team captain…Three-year starter…Two-year member of the Adirondack Empire State Team that won a bronze medal in 2006 and a silver medal in 2005…Also played freshman football and freshman basketball at Guilderland.
