GENERAL: Sat out his true freshman year in 2010, thus still has two years of eligibility remaining…Expected to be used in relief…Mentioned that Johan Santana is the athlete he most admires…Said his father is the person who has influenced him the most…Favorite movie is “The Hangover”…Favorite musician is Fabolous…His father ran track at St. Francis College…Said his best sports moment to date was striking out 16 batters in a playoff game.

AS A SOPHOMORE:  Went 1-0 with a 4.15 ERA…Fanned six batters throughout 8.2 innings of work…Picked up the win by tossing 2.0 innings of one-hit ball in a 13-11 victory versus the University of Sciences (PA) at the Palm Beach Challenge…Named to the Northeast-10 Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll for the spring semester in recognition of academic excellence.

AS A FRESHMAN: Made eight appearances out of the bullpen…Went 3-0 with a team-leading 0.47 ERA throughout 19.1 innings of work…Also picked up a save and recorded 15 strikeouts…Limited opposing hitters to an .082 batting average and surrendered only one earned run all year…Did not allow a run throughout his final six appearances…Tossed 3.0 innings of one-hit ball and fanned a pair to collect the save in a 4-2 victory versus University of the Sciences (3/7/11)…Hurled 3.0 innings of no-hit ball to help the Golden Knights to a 6-4, 12 inning triumph at Adelphi (4/14/11)…Worked 2.2 scoreless innings and fanned a pair during an 8-7, 10 inning setback at American International (4/29/11).

HIGH SCHOOL: Was an All-Long Island and All-League pick for Kellenberg Memorial…Also lettered in football and basketball…Played baseball for Chris Alfalla…Was also a member of the Paveco Storm club team.
