Last Time Out: Upstate Challenge rival Le Moyne manufactured a run in the 12th inning to hand The College of Saint Rose a 1-0 heartbreaking setback on Tuesday. Junior right-hander Phillip Zdanowski and senior right-hander Chris Gould both had exceptional outings. Zdanowski scattered three hits and whiffed nine throughout 7.0 innings of work to lower his ERA to 1.33 on the year, seventh best in the NE-10. He also maneuvered around a second and third jam in the third inning and worked throughout a leadoff base hit in the seventh. Meanwhile, Gould surrendered four hits and struck out three in 4.2 innings out of the bullpen. Offensively, junior left fielder Nick Venier went 2-for-5 with a pair of doubles to lead the Golden Knights (5-16/2-7 NE-10). Also, senior first baseman Zac Bellinger finished 1-for-4 with a walk, while freshman shortstop Bray Curreri doubled in four at-bats.
 
Scouting Saint Rose (5-16/2-7 NE-10): Bellinger has hit in seven straight games at a .385 clip (10-for-26)…He enters the weekend 11th among the NE-10 leaders with a team-best .361 (26-for-72) batting average…He also has eight RBI and 11 doubles…Zdanowski is holding opposing hitters to a .168 batting average throughout 27.0 innings of work…Junior southpaw Joe Pokrentowski is 2-1 with a 2.63 ERA and 29 strikeouts…Senior right-hander Ryan Harper has fanned a team-leading 30 batters, while walking only six in 40.1 innings of work…He is 3-3 with a 2.90 ERA.
 
Scouting New Haven (8-9/4-5 NE-10): The Chargers enter this weekend off of last Saturday's split a Adelphi and Tuesday's 4-3 win against visiting division rival Pace…Sophomore outfielder Robert Petrillo is seventh among the NE-10 leaders with a .382 (29-for-76) batting average…Senior infielder Zach Collett is hitting at a .299 (20-for-67) clip with a team-leading 16 RBI…Senior outfielder Brendan O'Reilly has been successful in eight of his nine stolen base attempts…Sophomore southpaw Vincent Aprea is 2-2 with a 2.77 ERA while junior right-hander Brian Caselli has fanned 19 and walked just four throughout 10 appearance that encompass 19.1 innings of work.
 
Senior Day: Sunday will be the Golden Knights annual Senior Day. Brad Bellinger, Joseph Carcone, Ryan Hooker, Bryan Carr, and Lukas Nethaway, along with Venier, Gould, Harper, and Zac Bellinger; will be honored during a brief pre-game ceremony.
 
Up Next: Both squads have 3:30 pm NE-10 Southwest Division games this Wednesday. Saint Rose will travel to Springfield to take on American International for the third and final game of the regular-season series. Meanwhile, New Haven will host crosstown rival Southern Connecticut State.
