Series: Saint Rose 18-8 | First Meeting: 2000-01
 
The Plot: The College of Saint Rose is aiming to produce its fifth win at home, while American International is looking to improve to 10-1 on the road.
 
Last Time Out: Stonehill shot 60.0 percent (12-for-20) from long range to upend Saint Rose 69-59 on Saturday afternoon in North Easton, MA. Junior forward Chris Dorgler finished with 14 points and six rebounds, while freshman guard Jalaun Taylor filled the box score with 10 points, nine boards and five assists. The Golden Knights twice got to within a bucket down the stretch. Taylor nailed a 3-pointer with 3:53 remaining to make it a 59-57 affair and then drained a jumper two minutes later, which pulled them to within 61-59. However, Stonehill held Saint Rose scoreless throughout the final 2:17 to chalk up its fifth straight win. Junior guard Carter Smith and sophomore forward Ryan Logan tossed in 14 points apiece to lead the Skyhawks.
 
Last Meeting: Host American International knocked down 13, 3-pointers to hand Saint Rose a 75-56 setback on January 3. Freshman forward Jack Jones finished with 14 points and five rebounds, while Taylor wound up with 11 points, six boards and four assists to pace the Golden Knights. Junior forward Trahmier Burrell tossed in 19 points, while junior guard Cameron Dobbs and senior guard Bobby Harris scored 16 each to lead the Yellow Jackets to their sixth straight victory. AIC put itself in control by closing the final five minutes of the first half with a 13-4 run that transformed a seven point, 24-17, lead into a 16 point, 37-21, cushion at the break.
 
Scouting the Golden Knights (5-16/3-11 NE-10): The Golden Knights have dropped 11 straight, the longest such streak in the program's NCAA era (1991-92)…Saint Rose, which has 10 freshmen and no seniors on its roster, has struggled to get to the foul line…The Golden Knights opponents have made almost 100 more trips (375-282) to the stripe than they have…Taylor has averaged 16.6 points and 6.4 rebounds throughout the last five games, while freshman center Sam Eckstrom has averaged 12.8 points during the past eight contests.
 
Scouting American International (15-4/10-3 NE-10): American International dropped its first road game of the year with Saturday's 92-71 setback at Saint Anselm…The Yellow Jackets had previously won 11 of their last 12 and are now 9-1 donning their road black jerseys…Harris paces four double-figure scorers with 17.7 points per-game…Dobbs follows at 17.2 ppg thanks in part to 40.6 percent (63-for-155) shooting from the arc…Senior forward Marcus Porter and Burrell contribute 15.3 ppg and 11.9 ppg respectively.
 
Up Next:  Both teams have conference dates on tap for Saturday. The Golden Knights will travel to New Haven for a 1:30 pm game while the Yellow Jackets will host Pace University at 3:30 pm.
