ALBANY, N.Y.- Four different Golden Knights finished in double-digit scoring as The College of Saint Rose earned an 83-70 win against New Haven.
Freshman Christian Pierre-Louis finished with 23 points to lead the Golden Knights quartet of high-scorers.
Juniors Tristian Jeffries and Nuha Sagina finished with 14 points each, while junior Ata Turgut provided 13 points.
Sagnia led all players with 12 rebounds to finish out the double-digit effort. Turgut tallied eight boards, four assists, and three steals as well.
Freshman guard Dante Weise filled the stat sheet with seven points, four rebounds, and nine assists.
62.1 percent shooting (18-of-29) in the first 20 minutes allowed Saint Rose to take a 45-33 lead into the half.
The Golden Knights advantage reached as much as 17 in the middle of the second half, however a late rally by New Haven allowed the Chargers to cut the deficit to 77-70 with two minutes to play.
Saint Rose would weather the storm though, as the Golden Knights would go on to secure the win after knocking down nine of its last 10 field goal attempts.
New Haven guard Jah'Likai King was the high scorer with 36 points.
The Golden Knights will head to Manchester, NH to face Southern New Hampshire in their regular season finale at 7:30 pm on Tuesday.
