Series: Saint Anselm 15-12 | First Meeting: 1992

The Plot: The College of Saint Rose is aiming to produce its fifth win at home, while Saint Anselm is going after its third straight victory.

Coaches vs. Cancer: Today marks the Golden Knights annual Coaches vs. Cancer game. All gate receipts and contributions from today's game will be donated towards the fight against cancer.

Last Time Out: Host Saint Michael's closed out a back and forth affair by scoring 21 of the game's final 28 points to upend Saint Rose 81-68 Wednesday evening. Junior forward Chris Dorgler filled the box score with 18 points, seven rebounds and five assists to pace Saint Rose. Furthermore, freshman center Sam Eckstrom finished 8-for-10 from the floor to tie his season high of 16 points in 23 minutes off the bench, while freshman forward Jack Jones added 14 points. Freshman guard Jamaal Greenwood handed out a season-best seven assists with only one turnover.

Last Meeting: A late Saint Rose rally fell just short in an 80-75 setback in Manchester, NH on January 4 of last year. The Golden Knights bounced back from a 10 point deficit midway through the second half to afford themselves a chance to tie it at the end, but the Hawks were able to hold on. A Dan Mundweiler jumper followed by a free throw from Saint Anselm senior forward Chris Santo made it a three-point affair, 78-75, with 10 ticks left. Isaiah Cosbert then could not get his 3-pointer to fall in the waning moments. Two perfunctory foul shots by Dino Mallios at the other end accounted for the final margin. Dominykas Milka recorded career-highs of 33 points and 19 rebounds to lead Saint Rose. Santo and senior guard Rob Mabrey tossed in 20 and 18 points respectively to pace four Hawks in double figures.

Scouting the Golden Knights (5-13/3-8 NE-10): The Golden Knights are aiming to go to 5-3 at home and in the process snap an eight game skid…Freshman forward Jalaun Taylor was named the Northeast-10 Conference Rookie of the Week on Monday following his 27 performance versus Merrimack a week ago Tuesday…It is the second time he has been so honored…The 201 combined points in the Merrimack contest were the most in a Golden Knights regulation game since they upended host Dominican 108-98 back on December 21, 2002…Eckstrom has come off the bench to hit double-figures in each of the last five contests…He has averaged 13.5 points, on 70.0 percent shooting (28-for-40), and 5.0 rebounds throughout 21.0 minutes during that span…Dorgler is averaging 14.8 points, 5.8 rebounds and 4.0 assists within that stretch.

Scouting Saint Anselm (11-5/8-4 NE-10): Saint Anselm has won three of its last four following Wednesday's 86-66 win against visiting Le Moyne…The Hawks drained 15, 3-pointers and put five players in double figures scoring, with sophomore guard Harrison Taggart pouring in a career-best 17 points…The Hawks are second in the NE-10 with an 83.7 scoring average…They have made almost as many free throws (218) as their opponents have taken (208)…Santo is third in the league with a team-leading 20.3 ppg…He stands atop the conference with a 65.8 FG% (133-for-202)…Mabrey and junior forward Mike McCahey contribute 17.2 and 15.7 ppg respectively.
