The Golden Knights welcome NE-10 rival New Haven for a three-game weekend series.

Last Time Out: American International scored three runs in both the third and sixth innings on the way to Thursday's 7-3 victory against The College of Saint Rose. Sophomore catcher Zoe Dubois belted a three run homer for the Golden Knights in the seventh. Meanwhile, senior center fielder Amber Loussedes finished 3-for-4 with a run scored.
 
Scouting Saint Rose (8-18/4-10 NE-10): Saint Rose is 3-4 in one-run games, but 4-1 when leading after four innings…Senior first baseman Olivia Reeves has reached base safely in eight consecutive games…She stands tied for third in the NE-10 with a team-leading six home runs and is fourth with a .642 slugging percentage…Reeves is batting a team-high .346 (28-for-81) while Loussedes is hitting at a  .300 (24-for-80) clip…Junior outfielder Kari Bird has been successful in all six of her stolen base attempts…Sophomore right-hander Nicole Wickham has issued just 17 walks throughout 79.1 innings of work…She is 4-9 with a 3.18 ERA, while freshman right-hander Renee Vaiano is 3-6, 3.27…Saturday is Senior Day…Reeves, Loussedes and their classmate Val Nelson will be recognized in a brief pregame ceremony.
 
Scouting New Haven (23-11/15-7 NE-10): Sophomore Victoria Cabral had a career day, in the box and circle, as she led New Haven to Wednesday's two-game sweep of visiting conference rival Adelphi, 9-1 and 2-0…Cabral went 3-for-4 with a double in the opener and then allowed just two hits throughout the distance in the nightcap… She also helped herself in the latter game by going 1-for-2 at the plate…The Chargers are ranked #4 in the East Region according to the first NCAA Division II poll of the year that was released earlier this week…Cabral is 11-5 on the season…She stands third in the NE-10 with a 1.04 ERA and is fifth with 93 strikeouts…Sophomore right-hander Nicole King is 12-6, 1.89; and is third among the league leaders with 126 strikeouts…Senior infielder Lindsey Couturier is one of six New Haven players that are hitting above .300…She is batting .339 with an NE-10 best 36 RBI.
 
Up Next: After Saturday's twin-bill, Saint Rose is back on the road Tuesday with a doubleheader at American International in Springfield. Meanwhile, the Chargers also have a twin-bill Tuesday when they will visit Adelphi on Long Island.
