SAINT ROSE PLAYS UNDER THE LIGHTS THIS EVENING

The Golden Knights take on Pace University under the lights this evening. First pitch is set for 7:00 pm.

Last Time Out: Senior first baseman Olivia Reeves notched her fifth home run of the season, but The College of Saint Rose dropped a pair of games, 6-2 and 1-0, at Northeast-10 Conference and Upstate Challenge rival Le Moyne yesterday. Reeves' two-run blast came in the sixth inning of game-one and brought the Golden Knights to within four. Le Moyne however was able to prevail as neither team scored again.
 
Scouting Saint Rose: The Golden Knights have been successful in 26 of their 30 stolen base attempts…Their 26 swipes represent the third highest mark in the NE-10…Reeves has now hit five home runs throughout the past seven days…She is tied for third among the league leaders and also has five multi-hit games on the year…Sophomore right-hander Nicole Wickham has issued only 16 walks in 55.0 innings of work.
 
Scouting Pace: The Setters are coming off of yesterday's split with #14 Caldwell…The Cougars took the opener 6-5 by scoring four times in the seventh, but Pace won the finale 13-4…The Setters belted four home runs throughout the afternoon…Pace has won three of its last five…The Setters have suffered five, one-run losses this season…Junior shortstop Jeane Drury stands fifth among the NE-10 batting leaders with a .390 average (32-for-82) and has a team-best 10 extra-base hits as well…Freshman infielder Nikole Larm is tied for fifth in the conference with five home runs…Junior right-hander Caitlin McCann has issued only 18 walks.
 
Up Next: Both squads have a three-game series on tap for this weekend. The Golden Knights will visit Southern Connecticut State, while Pace will host American International.
