CLERMONT, FL-A dramatic win followed by a tough setback resulted in a 1-1 day for The College of Saint Rose during the second day of action at the NTC games. The Golden Knights defeated Lock Haven 4-3 in the opener followed by a 7-4 loss to Concordia.

Sophomore infielder
Danielle Brusca led the Golden Knights (2-1) with three hits on the day, including two doubles. Meanwhile, sophomore pitcher
Nicole Wickham tossed 4.1 innings throughout the two games with one strikeout and no earned runs.

In the first game, Lock Haven pushed a run across in the top of the seventh inning to even the score at 3-3. However, junior catcher
Alexis Williams connected on a two-out single to left field to score senior outfielder
Amber Loussedes for the walk-off victory.

Four players had two hits in the win for Saint Rose while Brusca, along with Williams, notched an RBI. Wickham earned her second victory of the season after pitching the final 3.0 innings.

In the nightcap, Concordia broke a 4-4 tie in the fifth inning as sophomore outfielder Brittany Lampert came around to score after a leadoff double. Lampert also scored the first of two insurance runs in the seventh for the Clippers.

Brusca was responsible for two of three hits and a run for the Golden Knights. Meanwhile, senior outfielder
Olivia Reeves walked twice along with a hit and a run.
