WINTER PARK, FL–The College of Saint Rose dropped both of its first two games at the
66th Annual Rollins College Baseball Week today. The Golden Knights (0-8) were upended 6-1 by Saint Anselm and fell 7-4 to the host Tars (4-7). Saint Anselm scored all six of its runs during the final three frames, while Rollins rallied from a 4-1 deficit with two runs in the fifth and four more in the sixth.
Junior first baseman
Zac Bellinger had three hits in each game to lead the Golden Knights (0-8) offense. Meanwhile, junior southpaw
Bryan Carr was nothing short of outstanding in the first game. Carr worked a no-hitter through 6.1 innings, before Saint Anselm (1-3) pushed across three runs in the seventh. Carr wound up allowing three runs on three hits and fanning eight, with only one walk.

Brian Maynard also had a hit in each game, while sophomore left-hander
Anthony Romito allowed only an unearned run on two hits throughout 4.0 innings of work against Rollins.
Freshman third baseman Nick Bragole went 2-for-4 with two runs scored and a pair of RBI to pace the Hawks (1-3) while sophomore right fielder Lucas Valelly had a two-run single to highlight the four-run sixth for the Tars.
Looking ahead, Saint Rose continues its stay in Florida with an 11:00 am game tomorrow versus Concordia. Rollins and Saint Anselm are also in action tomorrow. Rollins will take on Concordia at 2:30 pm while Saint Anselm will face the University of the Sciences at 6:00 pm.
