Nick Venier belted an RBI triple in the eighth and senior left fielder
Scott Hladik drove in a run with a base hit in the first. Sophomore catcher
Patrick Griffin and junior right fielder
Lukas Nethaway also singled for the Golden Knights (0-3).
Sophomore third baseman JD Crowe went 2-for-4 and drove in three runs to lead the Patriots (4-1) offense.
Up ahead, the Golden Knights have a three-game series next weekend versus Post University in Dinwiddie, VA. Meanwhile, Francis Marion will host King College (TN) in a 1:00 pm doubleheader on Saturday, February 15.
