The Plot: The College of Saint Rose is aiming to remain unbeaten at home, while Southern Connecticut State, ranked #2 in the NABC Division II Poll, is aiming to go to 7-0 on the year.
 
Student's Study Break Night: Final exams are looming and so Chicken Joe's will be here tonight to give away some free food. Additionally, 300 Golden Knights ice scrapers will be given out at the conclusion of the game.
 
Last Time Out: Host seventh ranked Indiana University of Pennsylvania outscored Saint Rose 18-5 throughout the final six minutes on Sunday to upend the Golden Knights 64-47 during the final day of action at the IRMC/Urgicare Classic. The seventh-ranked Crimson Hawks turned 20 Saint Rose turnovers into 20 points and came up with nine steals to go to 7-0 on the year. Freshman forward Jalaun Taylor had 14 points and seven rebounds, while fellow freshman forward Jack Jones added 10 points for Saint Rose. Furthermore, junior forward Chris Dorgler tied his career-high of seven assists to go along with six points and a like number of boards. Senior guard Devante Chance finished with 13 points, eight assists and four steals to lead Indiana (PA).
 
Last Meeting (2/22/14): Saint Rose threw a scare at visiting #9 Southern Connecticut State before falling 86-80. The Golden Knights shot 58.3 percent (21-for-36) from the floor in the first stanza to take a 48-37 halftime lead, but were held to 36.4 percent shooting (12-for-33) throughout the final 20 minutes. Dominykas Milka registered his 19th double-double of the year with 23 points, on 7-for-11 shooting, and 19 rebounds. Junior forward Tyler Sayre finished with 13 points and seven boards, while Dan Mundweiler and Dorgler added 10 points each. As for the Owls, Greg Langston, the 2013-14 NE-10 Player of the Year, tossed in 20 points to lead a balanced attack that featured five players in twin-figures. Senior guards Tylon Smith and Luke Houston, and sophomore guard Michael Mallory scored 14 each, while junior forward Stefon Williams wound up with 11.
 
Scouting Saint Rose (4-3/2-1): Saint Rose is aiming to improve to 4-0 at home…Five different players have led the Golden Knights in scoring in each of their five games…Six are averaging between 8.3 and 11.1 points…Jones leads that group, while junior guard Max Weaver is right behind him at 11.0 ppg…Dorgler is producing a team-leading 6.3 rebounds…The Golden Knights are fourth in the NE-10 in scoring defense at 63.7 ppg.

: The Owls kept their season-opening unbeaten streak intact with last Tuesday's 104-69 win against visiting conference rival Pace…Southern Connecticut State is fourth in the country in scoring offense (101.3), and also leads the NE-10 in field goal percentage (52.4) and free throw percentage (80.9)…Sophomore guard Michael Mallory leads five double-digit point producers with 22.2 ppg, third highest in the NE-10…Houston and Smith follow at 18.3 and 16.8 ppg respectively.
 
Up Next: Saint Rose has 10 days off before heading to Southern New Hampshire for a 5:00 pm date on Saturday, December 13. Meanwhile, the Owls have a 3:30 pm home league date with American International this Saturday.
