The Plot: The College of Saint Rose welcomes Northeast-10 Conference Southwest Division rival American International for a three-game weekend series. Both teams are aiming to close out their 2013 campaigns on a high note.

Last Time Out: Host Le Moyne scored 11 second inning runs on the way to Tuesday's 21-8 win versus Saint Rose. Senior second baseman Kyle Charron and freshman third baseman Chad Adams had four hits each for the Golden Knights.

Scouting Saint Rose: The Golden Knights have won four of their last seven entering this weekend. Senior left fielder Caleb Gleason and freshman third baseman Chad Adams are currently riding 11 and nine-game hit streaks respectively. The latter was named the NE-10 Rookie of the Week for the second time this spring on Monday. Sophomore first baseman Zac Bellinger has batted .457 (16-for-35) with a .525 slugging percentage throughout the last nine contests. He furthermore has not committed an error in 82 chances during that span. Junior shortstop Joseph Carcone has a team-leading 15 stolen bases.

Scouting American International: Junior outfielder Dan Asselin was named both the NE-10 Player of the Week and the NCBWA East Region Hitter of the Week on Monday. Junior infielder Cam MacDonald has swiped a team-leading 15 bases. Junior third baseman/outfielder Dave Clark's .353 batting average is the league's fifth highest mark. He also paces the squad with 15 extra-base hits. Senior right-hander Geoff McCowat owns a 1.62 ERA throughout 14 appearances that cover 16.2 innings of work out of the bullpen. The Yellow Jackets are 9-9 in games decided by two runs or less this spring.
