SYRACUSE – The College of Saint Rose allowed host Le Moyne to score 11 second inning runs and thus suffered a 21-8
Northeast-10 Conference Southwest Division setback this afternoon. In the process, the Dolphins were able to secure the second annual year-long
“Upstate Challenge” rivalry series between the two schools by an 8-6 margin. The Golden Knights won last year's inaugural edition.

Kyle Charron and freshman third baseman
Chad Adams had four hits each for the Golden Knights (10-36/7-19 NE-10). In the process, Adams ran his hit streak to nine games.
Also, sophomore first baseman
Zac Bellinger and junior designated hitter
Scott Hladik had three hits apiece. The latter wound up with a pair of doubles and a home run. Meanwhile, Bellinger added his team-leading fifth round-tripper of the year. Senior catcher
A.J. Capone and senior left fielder
Caleb Gleason also homered as the latter extended his hit streak 11 games.
For the Dolphins (20-22/13-11 NE-10), senior catcher Brian Stinson drove in five runs while senior center fielder Zack Wiley finished 4-for-6 with three RBI.
Up next, Saint Rose will close out its regular-season slate with a three-game home series versus conference rival American International this weekend. The opener is set for 3:30 pm Friday at
Bob Bellizzi Field at the Plumeri Sports Complex. Meanwhile, Le Moyne will host Assumption for a three-game series beginning with Friday's 1:00 pm doubleheader.
