The Plot: The Golden Knights welcome Northeast-10 Conference Southwest Division rival New Haven for a three-game weekend series. Today is “Take A Kid To The Game” day at the Plumeri Sports Complex. The College's Social Committee is also sponsoring an event throughout the afternoon.

Scouting Saint Rose: Saint Rose is playing only its seventh and eighth home games of the year today. Freshman shortstop/third baseman Chad Adams leads the Golden Knights with 10 multi-hit games on the year. Sophomore left-hander Bryan Carr has given up three or fewer runs in each of his last three starts. He has worked an average of 7.0 innings during that stretch. Saint Rose is now 4-8 in one-run games this spring following Wednesday night's setback at UMass Lowell. Senior third baseman Kyle Charron has been successful in all nine of his stolen base attempts. Sophomore first baseman Zac Bellinger paces the squad with nine extra-base hits.

Scouting New Haven: The Chargers have won two straight after dropping their previous six games. They are 7-6 on the road entering today.  Senior right-hander Peter Jay is second in the NE-10 with 10 saves. He has allowed only two runs, both unearned, and fanned 22 batters while walking just one throughout 17.1 innings of work. Meanwhile, junior outfielder Chris DeMorais stands third among the league leaders with his .361 batting average. The Chargers have stolen 79 bases on the year while their opponents have swiped 35.

Up Next: These two teams are scheduled to conclude their weekend series tomorrow at 2:00 pm. That game is slated to be streamed live on www.gogoldenknights.tv.
