The Plot: The College of Saint Rose and Pace University close out their Northeast-10 Conference Southwest Division three-game series with a twin-bill today.

2012 vs. Pace: L 3-1 | L 2-1 | L 3-1

Yesterday: Pace University opened the weekend series by scoring in each of the first three innings and sending 13 batters to the plate in the sixth on the way to yesterday's 18-8 victory. Senior second baseman Kyle Charron and junior left fielder Scott Hladik both had two hits and drove in a pair of runs while freshman center fielder Derek Reed reached base three times by going 2-for-3 with a walk and two runs scored. Also, senior designated hitter Caleb Gleason banged out two RBI for the Golden Knights. As for the Setters, senior right fielder Charlie Galasso went 4-for-6 with a double, two runs scored and like number of RBI while senior right-hander Neil Pezzullo fanned seven without issuing a walk throughout 8.0 innings of work to run his record to 3-1 on the year.

Saint Rose Diamond Notes: Charron was named to the NE-10 weekly honor roll on Monday after he batted .438 (7-for-16) with four RBI, two runs scored, a pair of doubles, a stolen base, and a triple throughout four games last week…Junior shortstop Joseph Carcone owns a team-leading .361 OB%…Reed and Charron stand second to Carcone with seven stolen bases ...Charron has been successful in all seven of his attempts…Hladik has reached base in 10 consecutive games…Junior right-hander Josh Johnson is holding opponents to a .202 batting average.

Pace University Diamond Notes: The Setters snapped a two-game skid with yesterday's win…They have been successful in 18 of their 21 stolen base attempts…Sophomore left-hander Jonathan Chudy has given up only 14 hits throughout 22.1 innings of work…Junior outfielder James Pjura has a team-leading 11 extra-base hits.

Up Next: The Golden Knights have back-to-back road dates with a 1:00 pm non-conference encounter at Concordia on Monday followed by Tuesday's 3:30 pm league meeting at Le Moyne.
