Last Time Out: Saint Rose concluded a long unscheduled road trip with a pair of setbacks at Northeast-10 Conference rival Franklin Pierce on Sunday. Saint Rose scored its lone run in the bottom half when senior designated hitter Kyle Charron singled up the middle to bring across junior shortstop Joseph Carcone. In the finale, the Ravens pushed across a run in three of the first four innings to go up 6-0. The Golden Knights cut their deficit in half with three runs in the fifth, but the Ravens scored six more times in the ninth. Saint Rose then added another run in the home half. Charron smacked a two-run double to the gap in right-center and junior left fielder Scott Hladik brought home Charron with a sacrifice fly to right in the fifth.

Saint Rose Diamond Notes (3-18): Charron was named to the NE-10 weekly honor roll on Monday after he batted .438 (7-for-16) with four RBI, two runs scored, a pair of doubles, a stolen base, and a triple throughout four games last week…Carcone leads the Golden Knights with a .326 (14-for-43) batting average, eight stolen bases, and a .396 OB%…Freshman center fielder Derek Reed stands second to Carcone with seven stolen bases…Hladik has reached base in seven consecutive games…Junior right-hander Josh Johnson is holding opponents to a .202 batting average…Sophomore southpaw Bryan Carr is 1-1 with a team-best 3.38 ERA.
