The Plot: The College of Saint Rose welcomes Pace for a

Jessica Walton recorded career-highs of 18 points, 12 rebounds and five blocks to lead Saint Rose, which had its three-game win streak snapped. Sophomore guard
Gabie Polce also had 18 points to finish in twin-figures, while junior guard
Desiree Simmons tossed in a career-high 17 via 5-for-9 shooting.
Last Meeting | Pace 62-50 (12/1/12 at Pace): A late spurt by Saint Rose was not enough as Pace secured a 62-50 victory. The Setters led wire-to-wire, held the Golden Knights to a 20.0 percent shooting from the arc, and built a 19 point advantage in the early stages of the second period that proved to be insurmountable. Nicole Bini was in double-figures with a team-high 17 points for Saint Rose. Walton finished with eight points and nine rebounds while fellow senior foward
Maria Sanchez Gonzalez hauled in 12 boards, 10 from the defensive glass. As for the Setters, senior forward Brittany Shields led a balanced attack with 12 points, 15 rebounds, four assists, and three steals. Senior guard Jessica Scannell and sophomore forward Brianna Harris tossed in 13 points each, while senior guard Allison Cleary scored 12 points in 27 minutes off the bench.
Scouting Saint Rose | 9-13/6-12 NE-10: Prior to Wednesday's loss, the Golden Knights owned a season long three-game winning streak. Saint Rose has totaled ast least four blocks in the last six contests. The Golden Knights are 7-0 when opponents score less than 60 points. Polce has scored in double-figures in five straight games.
Scouting Pace | 12-10/6-12 NE-10: Shields is fourth in the conference behind a 51.9 (125-for-241) shooting percentage. She is also in the top 12 for scoring (14.2 ppg) and rebounding (7.5 rpg). Pace has alternated wins and losses in the last 10 games. Scannell ranks sixth with a 40.2 (33-for-82) 3-point shooting percentage and seventh in assists (4.2 apg) in the NE-10. Cleary netted a career-high 19 points as the Setters defeated host Southern Connecticut State 65-51 Tuesday night.
Pink Zone: Proceeds from today's gate will go to three different charities as part of the College's annual
"Coaches vs. Cancer" and "Pink Zone" celebrations in conjunction with the NABC and WBCA. The three charities are the Jimmy V. Foundation for Cancer Research, Camp Bravehearts, and the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
Up Next: Both teams return to action at 5:30 pm on Wednesday for a pair of NE-10 meetings. The Golden Knights are slated to travel to Assumption in Worcester, MA while the Setters host Adelphi in Pleasantville, NY.
