Saint Rose cruised to a 45-22 halftime lead and withstood a 17-5 surge during the initial five minutes of the second period that whittled its margin to 11, 50-39. However, a Milka layup followed by a Sayre jumper pushed its advantage back to 15, 54-39.
Freshman guard
Mical-Ryan Boyd then completed a three-point play by finishing a nice fast break feed from Cosbert and converting the ensuing free throw that made it a 20 point, 61-41, affair with 11:08 to go. Saint Rose led by no fewer than 20 the rest of the way en route to its third straight win.
Prior to the game, Milka was recognized for being named to the

College Sports Information Directors of America. He was one of only 15 NCAA Division II players recognized for outstanding athletics and academic performance last spring.
Looking ahead, both squads have 3:30 pm home conference dates this Saturday. The Golden Knights will host
Upstate Challenge rival Le Moyne while the Setters will entertain New Haven.
