Northeast-10 Conference doubleheader against the University of New Haven. Game one is slated to start at 3:00 pm from Cathy Cummings Haker Field at the Plumeri Sports Complex. The games will also be broadcast live via the web at

Saint Rose suffered a pair of Northeast-10 Conference losses at the hands of visiting UMass Lowell on Sunday. The River Hawks halted a comeback bid to take the opener 6-4 and then produced an 11-7 triumph in game two. In game one, sophomore outfielder
Olivia Reeves doubled to open the seventh and then came around to score on a two-out RBI single from junior infielder
Rachel Reed. The Golden Knights sent the tying run to the plate, however, the River Hawks closed the door to escape. Reed finished 3-for-4 with two RBI, while Reeves went 2-for-2 with two runs and two walks. In the nightcap, Saint Rose jumped out to a 6-2 lead that was punctuated with a home run by freshman catcher
Alexis Williams. UMass Lowell got one back in the second and put up a five-spot in the fourth to take the lead for good. Senior infielder
Jessica Butterbrodt was the lone player with multiple-hits for the Golden Knights. She wound up 2-for-4 with an RBI.

Saint Rose has continued to hit the ball out of the park at an alarming rate thus far. The Golden Knights are third in the NE-10 with 20 homers. They have additionally worked 72 walks, which also ranks third. Reeves is tied for the league lead with 10 jacks and is fourth in runs (26), RBI (23) and batting average (.426). Freshman right-hander
Lauren Sputo is one of only nine players in the conference with 50 strikeouts or more. She averages 5.71 strikeouts per-outing and owns a 2.85 ERA.
NEW HAVEN DIAMOND NOTES
The Chargers have won four of their last five games heading into today. Junior Lucy Franciso is currently 10th in the conferene with a .405 (32-for-79) batting average. She is also eighth in hits (32). New Haven possesses the fourth-best pitching staff in terms of ERA in the league. The Chargers own a collective 2.82 ERA and opponents are hitting just .237 against them. Junior Alana Wesche is off to an 8-6 start in the circle. She has fanned 54 batters throughout 91.1 innings of action.
