ALBANY - The College of Saint Rose will play its final regular season home games and will celebrate Senior Day as they host the Saint Anselm Hawks in a Northeast-10 Conference doubleheader. Game one is slated to start at 12:15 pm from Cathy Cummings Haker Field at the Plumeri Sports Complex.

Last Time Out
Senior third baseman Jessica Butterbrodt took the first pitch in the bottom of the seventh inning over the leftfield wall for a walkoff homerun as the Golden Knights downed Southern New Hampshire 2-1 in game two of a doubleheader yesterday. The Golden Knights took the early lead in the game in the third inning as sophomore centerfielder Amber Loussedes doubled followed by a single by junior rightfielder Steph Luce to take a 1-0 lead. Freshman right-hander Lauren Sputo went the distance in the circle for Saint Rose for the seventh time this season in the victory. Southern New Hampshire won the opener of the twinbill 10-0 in five innings.

2011 vs. Saint Anselm
The clubs split the regular-season series a year ago. The Golden Knights dropped the opener 4-2, but came back for an 8-3 triumph in game two.

Saint Rose Diamond Notes
Saint Rose is coming off a split of their doubleheader in yesretday's action against Southern New Hampshire. The Golden Knights earned the split thankls to a walkoff homerun by senior third baseman Jessica Butterbrodt. These are the final home games for Saint Rose on the year as the team celebrates Senior Day. Prior to the game, Saint Rose will recognize senior infielders Jessica Butterbrodt, Lindsay David, Kayle Kuilema and senior pitchers Sarah Arbogast and Courtney Galuski.

Saint Anselm Diamond Notes
The Hawks come into action today of a pair of losses to Le Moyne yesterday afternoon. Saint Anselm is currently 11th in the NE-10 standings, sitting one game in the win column up on Saint Rose. The Hawks are led offensively by  sophomore shortstop Nicole Boucher who is in the top-25 in the conference in average (.351) and on-base percentage (.402). In the circle, Saint Anselm is paced by freshman right-hander Tayla Trask who is fifth in the NE-10 in ERA (1.87). Trask has split time between starting and the bullpen, which has helped her complete three games but also rank third in the conference in saves with two.

All fans in attendance today can enjoy a free pretzel as part of Fan Appreciation Day. The pretzel giveaway is sponsored by the Saint Rose Student Association.

Up Next
Both squads have league doubleheaders on Tuesday. Saint Rose is set to travel to Syracuse to face off against Le Moyne. Saint Anselm will play host to Saint Michael's. Both doubleheaders are scheduled for 3:00 pm.
