The Plot: The College of Saint Rose is aiming to run its season-opening unbeaten streak to five games while Adelphi is looking for its first road victory of the year after dropping non-conference dates at Bridgeport and Bloomfield.

Last Time Out: Senior guard Andre Pope hit a layup at the buzzer to lift Saint Rose to a 68-66 victory at Northeast-10 Conference and Upstate Challenge rival Le Moyne a week ago last night. The Golden Knights rallied from an 11 point halftime deficit by holding the Dolphins to 29.6 percent (8-for-27) shooting from the floor throughout the second half. Junior guard Dan Mundweiler scored 13 of his team-high 21 points in the final 20 minutes and handed out three assists to pace Saint Rose. Freshman forward Tyler Sayre wound up with 11 points while junior center Dominykas Milka finished with nine points, eight rebounds and three steals. Pope had nine points as did freshman forward Chris Dorgler who also pulled down five rebounds in 23 minutes off the bench.

Last Meeting: The Golden Knights converted four consecutive free throws in the waning moments to seal a 65-61 victory versus visiting Adelphi on February 8 of last season. Brian Hanuschak led four players in double-figures with 14 points. He furthermore became the 26th player in school annals to score 1,000 career points. Milka tossed in 12 points in just 16 minutes of reserve duty, while Thomas and Sheldon Griffin added 11 and 10 points respectively. Robert Johnson provided 23 points for Adelphi to lead all scorers. Richard Harkins added 12 points, six boards and five assists.

Scouting Saint Rose (4-0/2-0 NE-10): The Golden Knights have held their first three opponents to 61.0 points on 39.9 percent shooting from the floor. They have furthermore outscored them by an average of 15.7 points and own a +3.3 turnover margin. Saint Rose is 4-0 for the second time in three years. Four different players have led the squad in scoring in each of its four games to date.

Scouting Adelphi (2-3/1-1 NE-10): The Panthers snapped a two-game skid with a 62-54 triumph against visiting conference rival New Haven a week ago Tuesday evening. Senior forward Bradley Simpson paces the squad behind 15.0 ppg and 7.4 rpg. Senior guards John Calarco and Chris Ranglin are tossing in 9.0 ppg and 8.8 ppg respectively.

Up Next: Both teams have 3:30 pm conference games on tap for this Saturday, December 1. The Golden Knights have a road date at Pace University while the Panthers return home to host Assumption.
