Mabrey finished eighth in the conference by averaging 15.1 points per-game. He also buried 43.1 percent of his attempts from the arc. Four more freshmen join this year's Hawks squad as Keith Dickson enters his 27th season at the helm. Junior guard Dino Mallios is the team's top returning assists leader after dishing out 4.2 per-game in 2011-12. The Hawks shot a league best 74.2 percent from the foul line last year with Mabrey leading the way at 82.4 percent (70-for-85).
SCOUTING CONCORDIA: The Clippers reached the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference postseason tournament for the first time since the 2007-08 season after finishing fourth in the league last year. They led the league in scoring behind 76.7 points per-game. Concordia returns two seniors who surpassed the 1,000th point plateau for their careers in 2011-12. Senior forward Argelix Gil reached the feat on January 10 against Nyack. Gil went on to be named a second-team CACC All-Conference and second-team All-Met honoree after averaging a “double-double”.
