ALBANY - The College of Saint Rose looks to remain unbeaten at home (6-0) when the Golden Knights host Stonehill College in a Northeast-10 Conference contest at 1:30 pm today at the Daniel P. Nolan Gymnasium. Saint Rose is coming off of Tuesday's 45-39 setback at Saint Anselm College, but is 3-0 this year in games that follow a loss.

Home Sweet Home
The Golden Knights have found great success at the Daniel P. Nolan Gymnasium since its renovation prior to the 2004-05 season. Saint Rose has posted a 73-24 home slate for a .753 winning percentage. Furthermore, the Golden Knights have defeated five ranked opponents on their home floor, including twice last season.

The Series
Today marks the 27th meeting between the two clubs. Saint Rose owns a 15-11 lead in the all-time series and has won four of the past six outings. Stonehill grabbed a 44-37 triumph on its home floor last January 29. The lone other setback for the Golden Knights came via a 62-58 loss in the first round of the 2009 NCAA Tournament. Neither side has played particularly well on its home floor over the years. Saint Rose is 8-4 at Merkert Gymnasium and has won three of four despite last years loss. Meanwhile, the Skyhawks have gone 5-2 in Albany.

Scouting Saint Rose (8-4/5-3 NE-10)
The Golden Knights are unbeaten at home (6-0) so far this season. Saint Rose owns a +17.2 scoring margin at the Daniel P. Nolan Gymnasium where the Golden Knights are surrendering a mere 48.5 points per-game. Opponents are furthermore shooting just 29.7 percent from the floor in Albany. Saint Rose possesses the top scoring defense in the league at this juncture. The Golden Knights yield just 51.2 points per-game as opponents are shooting a league-worst 31.3 percent from the floor and 22.6 percent from the arc against them. Saint Rose has held six opponents to 50 points or less so far. The Golden Knights additionally pace the NE-10 in blocks (5.5 bpg). Five players are contributing at least 5.0 points per-game led by senior guard Ashley Rath, who tosses in 17.8 points on a regular basis for the fourth-highest scoring average in the league. Rath is also shooting 40.5 percent (32-for-79) from the arc and 83.0 percent (44-for-53) from the stripe. She ranks seventh and 10th in the conference in both categories. Senior guard Ola Shajuyigbe (12.0 ppg) is the lone other player contributing twin-figures. Meanwhile, senior forward Ali Johnson is adding 9.3 points, a team-high 8.4 rebounds and a league-best 2.8 blocks.
 
Scouting Stonehill (7-5/3-5 NE-10)
The Skyhawks are coming off of Tuesday's 87-67 win versus New Haven. Senior guard Priscilla Dodoo paved the way for Stonehill with a career-high 22 points to go along with eight boards. Dodoo ranks second on the squad in scoring (10.3 ppg). Sophomore guard Mary Louise Dixon paces the Skyhawks with 13.2 points and 4.9 assists on a regular basis. Stonehill takes care of the ball better than any other club in the NE-10. The Skyhawks cough it up only 15.2 times per-game.

Both squads return to action Wednesday evening with a pair of 5:30 pm league games on the docket. Saint Rose is set to host Southern New Hampshire University, while Stonehill heads to #15 Assumption College.
