The Plot: The Golden Knights return home for the first time in five weeks to play the 1,100th game in school history. Saint Rose and Stonehill jump center at 3:30 pm in the back end of a Northeast-10 Conference doubleheader.

Andre Pope led the way for the Golden Knights with 20 points and nine rebounds, while sophomore forward
Dominykas Milka recorded a “double-double” behind 15 points and a career-high 12 rebounds throughout 25 minutes off the bench. Freshman guard Rob Mabrey led a balanced Saint Anselm (3-8/1-6 NE-10) attack with 13 points, six rebounds and four assists.
Last Meeting: Stonehill generated a 48-30 margin on the glass, which led to a 20-6 advantage in second chance points as the Skyhawks fended off the Golden Knights 72-62 on January 29 of last year in Easton, MA.
Senior guard
Rob Gutierrez was one of three Saint Rose players in double-figures despite fouling out with almost seven minutes remaining. Gutierrez wound up with 18 points on 7-of-11 shooting from the floor. Pope tossed in 16 points and added three assists, while senior forward Brian Hanuschak added 12 points and six boards.
Daniel Heppert led the Skyhawks with 19 points. Meanwhile, Ivan Almeida contributed 14 points and Mike Kernan had a “double-double” behind 11 points and 19 boards.
The Series: The series dates back to the 1998 NCAA Tournament and is tied 8-8 with each club owning a 5-3 mark on its own floor. However, Stonehill has won four straight and seven of the last eight meetings. The lone Saint Rose victory throughout that span came via a 77-59 triumph at Nolan Gymnasium on December 6, 2007.
