College of Saint Rose Athletics

GENERAL: Team captain…Currently attends graduate school at Saint Rose…Did not dress in 2006 and thus still has one year of eligibility…Should be a mainstay at the front end of the team’s top-five…Mentioned his best sport moment to date was winning the 800-meter run last Spring at the Northeast-10 Conference Outdoor Track & Field Championships in a meet record time.

AS A JUNIOR: Recipient of NCAA Division II All-Academic Award from the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA)…Named to both the Fall and Spring NE-10 Commissioner’s Honor Rolls in recognition of academic excellence…Recorded a personal-best 8k time of 26:57 at the Paul Short Run (10/2/09)…Finished 15th in 27:17.90 at the NYIT Running of the Bears (9/19/09)…Was third overall at Le Moyne (10/10/09) after crossing the line in 29:11…Took eighth at the Shacklette Invitational (9/12/09) in 28:15.

AS A SOPHOMORE: Named to the NE-10 Commissioner’s Honor Roll…Competed in three events…Crossed the line 35th in 18:04 in the 5k portion of the Williams Purple Valley Classic (9/27/08), which proved to be his first meet of the year…Covered the 8k layout at the NE-10 Championships (10/25/08) in a season-best 28:11.3…Also finished 89th among 167 participants at the NCAA East Regional (11/9/08) with a time of 35:39.2 at the 10k distance.

AS A FRESHMAN: Was one of the first three Saint Rose runners throughout the final three meets of the season…Covered the 8k course at the NE-10 Championship (10/21/07) in a season-best time of 28:50 to finish 66th overall…Wound up seventh at the third annual Golden Knights Joust (10/5/07) with a 29:42 clocking…Turned in a 30:35 performance to cross the line 19th at the Bryant Invitational (9/22/07)...Garnered the team’s Most Improved Player award.

HIGH SCHOOL: Member of the cross country and track and field teams at Rondout Valley…Was fifth in the Mid-Hudson Athletic League in the 800m…Placed sixth in that event at the section IX class “B” championships…Also earned All-MHAL honors in the 4x800 relay.
