College of Saint Rose Athletics

GENERAL: Local product…Has the ability to finish in the top-five on any given day…Enjoys biking and walking in his spare time…Would like to attend graduate school and relocate to Maryland following his career at Saint Rose…Said his mother, grandmother, coaches and friends have had a great deal of influence on him…Listed his favorite food as blueberry pie and likes watching comedy and scary movies.

AS A SOPHOMORE: Was one of the squad’s top-two finishers at the first four events of the season…Took third at the Golden Knights Joust (9/5/09) in a time of 27:55…Also wound up third at the Shacklette Invitational (9/12/09) behind a 27:25 clocking…Was then seventh in 26:22.60 at the NYIT Running of the Bears (9/19/09)…Broke the 27-minute barrier at the 8k distance again with a time of 26:32 at the Paul Short Run (10/2/09)…Took 42nd at the NE-10 Championships (10/25/09) after crossing the line in 27:10.4.

AS A FRESHMAN: Participated in six of the club’s eight events…Registered perhaps his best performance of the season at the Northeast-10 Conference Championship (10/25/08) when he covered the 8k trek in 27:39.3…Finished fifth overall in a dual meet at Le Moyne (10/11/08) behind a 28:53 clocking…Was 12th at the Shacklette Invitational (9/13/08) that was hosted by Saint Anselm on the strength of a 28:58.3 clocking…Wound up 27th in the 5k portion of the Williams Purple Valley Classic (9/27/08) in a time of 17:53.

HIGH SCHOOL: Competed on the cross country, indoor and outdoor track and field teams at Albany…Was the second-ranked miler in the Big 10…School record holder in the 2,000m steeplechase…Named Team MVP in cross country as a senior.
