GENERAL: Expected to dress only for the outdoor season…One of the team’s middle distance runners…School record holder in the 600 meter run indoors (1:25.74)…Said his parents are the people who have had the most influence on him…Has an uncle, Dave Herman, who ran track at the University of Florida.

AS A SOPHOMORE: Ran a season best indoor time of 2:39.60 to place seventh at the Crowell Open (1/12/08) that was hosted by Army…Set his school 600 meter standard with a second place finish at the Williams Invitational (1/19/08)…Also part of school record-setting 4x440 relay squad that ran a second place collective time of 3:41.79…Ran a 2:02.05 to place second in the 800 meter run at the Smith Tartan Invitational…Did not compete during the outdoor season.

AS A FRESHMAN: Tied for the best individual finish by a Saint Rose runner at the Northeast-10 Conference Indoor Championships (2/19/07) after taking fifth in the 800 meter run with a time of 2:01.59…Also ran the first leg of the 4x800 relay squad that captured fifth in 8:20.14…Competed exclusively at 1,500 and the 800 meters during the outdoor season…Took first at the Bryant Invitational (4/7/07) in the 800 with a season-best time of 1:57.72…Also registered a season-best time of 4:14.04 in the 1,500 at the RPI Invitational (3/31/07) to take fifth…Named to the NE-10 Weekly Honor Roll on two occasions during the outdoor season (4/9/07 and 5/7/07).

HIGH SCHOOL: Team captain…Member of class “A” section II championship team at Colonie Central…Also lettered in cross country and lacrosse…Two-time winner of the Cleary Award in cross country…Part of school record 4x800 and distant medley relay teams…Honored as most outstanding middle distance runner…Played in the exceptional senior all-star game in lacrosse.
