GENERAL: A team captain…Transferred from Nazareth College in Rochester two years ago…One of two throwers on this year’s squad…Recorded four school records at Nazareth (two indoor, two outdoor)…Would like to get a job in the graphic design field upon graduation…Is an Eagle Scout…Enjoys camping and hiking in his spare time.

AS A SOPHOMORE: Broke a school outdoor record with a hammer throw of 41.45 meters in his sneakers at last year’s NE-10 Championships (5/3/08) that were hosted by Bryant University…Surpassed the 40 meter mark in that event at both the George Davis Invitational (4/12/08) at UMass Lowell and the Union Invitational (4/26/08) with respective throws of 40.76 and 40.23 meters…Took fourth in the shot put indoors at the Williams Invitational (1/19/08) behind a 39 feet, 3.75 inches effort and was seventh at the NE-10 indoor championships with a season-best toss of 44 feet, 1.25 inches at Southern Connecticut State (2/23/08).

2007 AT NAZARETH: Established four school records during his rookie campaign…During the indoor season, set school marks in the weight throw (38 feet, 11.75 inches) and the shot put (43 feet, 0.25 inches)…Also owns the outdoor record in the shot put (39 feet, 0.50 inches) and the discus (99 feet, 1.75 inches)…The latter were recorded on the same day at the University at Buffalo (4/21/07).

HIGH SCHOOL: Captain of both football and track & field squads at Queensbury…Named MVP of the track & field team as a senior…Was the section II shot put champion as both a junior and senior.
