Biography

GENERAL: Enjoys spending her spare time with friends…Best sports moment was competing at the 2013 NCAA Track and Field Outdoor Championships with former teammate Macky Lloyd…Also gained valuable experiences competing at the Penn Relays and the New Balance Nationals…Her two sisters participated in track and field at George Mason and Norfolk State.
 
AS A JUNIOR: Become the first female in school history to qualify for the NCAA Outdoor Championships as a field participant in the triple jump…Finished 20th in the triple jump at the NCAA Championships (5/24/13) with an 11.65 meter jump…Recorded 11 top-ten finishes during both the indoor and outdoor campaigns…Started the indoor season with a first place triple jump of 11.19 meters at the Army Crowell Open (1/5/13)…Also had a season-best high jump of 1.55 meters at Army for eighth place…Placed seventh at the Northeast-10 Conference Indoor Championships (2/16/13) after a high jump of 5.21 meters…Posted a fourth place finish of 11.71 meters in the triple jump at the George Mason Last Chance Meet (2/24/13)…At the Dick Shea Open (3/30/13) she finished first in the triple jump (11.59 meters), second in the high jump (1.55 meters), third in the 100 meter hurdles (16.20), and fourth in the long jump (5.16 meters)…Leaped to 11.47 meters in the triple jump at the Penn Relays (4/26/13)…Set the school record in the triple jump and high jump at the NE-10 Outdoor Championships (5/4/13)…Leaped to 12.09 meters for to win the triple jump and claimed sixth place with a high jump of 1.57 meters.
 
AS A SOPHOMORE: Had a strong indoor season by competing in three events…Recorded four third-place finishes in the triple jump including an NCAA provisional qualifying mark with her leap of 11.67 meters at the Armory Collegiate Challenge (2/23/12)…Also placed third in the event at the NE-10 Championships (2/18/12) with a jump of 11.23 meters…Finished third in the triple jump at the Army Crowell Invitational (1/7/12) and the Tufts Stampede (2/4/12) with distances of 11.02 meters and 11.19 meters respectively…Enjoyed a stellar outdoor season in both the sprint relay events and the triple jump…Finished second at the NE-10 Championships (5/4-5/12) in the TJ with her leap of 11.53 meters to earn second team All-Conference honors…Helped set the Saint Rose record in the 4x100 relay as the team clocked in at 50.56 for a fifth place finish at the NE-10 meet…Had four wins in the triple jump on the season including leaps of 11.62 meters and 11.64 meters at the Capital District Classic (4/28/12) and the Oneonta May Meet (5/14/12) respectively…Also placed 18th in the event at the prestigious Penn Relays with a jump of 11.16 meters…Named to the NE-10 Commissioner Honor Roll for both the fall semester in recognition of academic excellence.
 
AS A FRESHMAN: Two-time NE-10 first-team performer…Helped to rewrite the Saint Rose record books in her inaugural campaign…Won the triple jump at both the indoor and outdoor NE-10 Championships…At the indoor championships (2/17/11), she leapt a winning distance of 11.18 meters (36’ 8.25”) to earn first-team All-Conference honors…Completed the triple jump sweep at the outdoor championships (5/6-7/11) with a jump of 11.34 meters (37’ 2.50”)…Set six school records between the indoor and outdoor seasons…Elevated the previous Golden Knights standard in the long jump with a leap of 5.41 meters (17’ 9.00”) at the Armory Collegiate Challenge (2/25/11)…Also made her mark in track events, setting school records in the 55 and 60 meter hurdles with times of 8.75 (MIT Invitational – 1/29/11) and 9.56 (Army Crowell Invitational – 1/8/11) respectively…On the outdoor circuit, ran the lead leg for the 4x200 at the prestigious Penn Relays (4/28-29/11) where the Golden Knights clocked a school record 1:48.81…Set a Saint Rose standard in the 200 meter dash with a 16.14 clocking at the Capital District Classic (4/30/11)…Also notched a school record and attained an NCAA provisional qualifying standard with a leap of 11.88 meters (38’ 9.80”) in the triple jump at the Classic.
 
HIGH SCHOOL: Team captain of the indoor and outdoor track and field squads at Cornwall…Garnered MVP honors following both seasons…Chosen for the Coaches Award as a junior and was also named Most Improved after the indoor campaign as a sophomore…Two-time Scholar-Athlete Award winner…Made an appearance at the New York State Indoor Championships where she was runner-up in the triple jump.
