Box Score COLCHESTER, VT- The College of Saint Rose men's basketball team fell to the Saint Michael's College Purple Knights 76-68 tonight in a Northeast-10 Conference road matchup.
The Golden Knights saw four players reach double-figures and were led by 20 points from junior guard Tristian Jefferies, who also grabbed seven rebounds.
Junior forwards
Ata Turgut and
Nuha Sagnia respectively scored 13 and 10 for the Golden Knights. Sagnia matched Jefferies with seven boards and added two blocks.
Saint Rose freshman guard Louis Daost matched his season-best scoring mark with 11 points on 4-of-5 shooting from the floor. Freshman guard
Dante Weise dished out a game-high eight assists for the Golden Knights.
The Purple Knights, who sit in first place in the NE10, were led by Alan Brzezinski who hit eight three-pointers on the night. Saint Michael's hit nine long balls after halftime, which helped the hosts outscore the Golden Knights 41-27 in the final 20 minutes.
Saint Rose will return home to the Daniel P. Nolan Gymnasium to host the American International College Yellow Jackets on Saturday at 3:30 pm.
