Scouting Mansfield (20-22): The Mounties are members of the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC)…They arrive in the Capital Region aiming to snap a four-game skid after dropping three games to PSAC East rival Shippensburg this past weekend…Senior shortstop Assaf Lowengart and junior utility Brittain Shander lead the offense with .342 (53-for-155) and .339 (38-for-112) respective batting averages…Lowengart paces Mansfield with nine home runs, 38 runs scored, and 41 RBI…Shander owns a team-leading .486 OB% and has been successful in 12 of his 14 stolen base attempts…Senior right-hander Hunter DePrimo has worked a team-high 57.0 innings…He is 2-5 with a 3.47 ERA and 68 strikeouts.

Looking Ahead: Both teams close out their regular-season dockets with conference series this weekend. The Golden Knights host NE10 Southwest Division leader Adelphi on Friday and Saturday for a pair of doubleheaders, while Mansfield hosts PSAC East Division rival Millersville for a twin-bill on Saturday.
