Last Time Out: The College of Saint Rose split Sunday's Northeast-10 Conference doubleheader with Le Moyne to take three of four in the weekend series. The Golden Knights bounced back in resounding fashion from an 11-0 setback in Sunday's first game by handing Le Moyne a 21-1 loss in the finale. Saint Rose pounded out 21 hits with 10 different players joining the hit parade. Meanwhile, junior right-hander Jared Restmeyer allowed just the one run on four hits and fanned five, without issuing of walk, over 7.0 innings to improve to 6-2 on the year. Sophomore designated hitter Nathan Toms finished 3-for-5 with five RBI and sophomore catcher Derek Haughey went 2-for-2 and drove in four runs. Freshman left fielder James Ward wound up 3-for-5 with a three-run homer over the right-center field fence in the first. Junior third baseman Tyler Osborne and junior first baseman Jack McDonald pounded out three hits apiece, and sophomore shortstop Jared Reed went 2-for-3 with three RBI and a solo homer to account for only part of the barrage.

Last Meeting: Franklin Pierce claimed a pair against the Golden Knights in Rindge, N.H. on April 13. The Ravens swept the doubleheader by scores of 20-10 and 9-2.

Scouting Saint Rose (16-20): The Golden Knights have won five of their last six and are 4-6 in one-run games this spring…McDonald has reached base in 14 straight and owns a team-leading 15 multi-hit games…Freshman second baseman Vince Venditti has hit at a .387 (24-for-62) clip throughout his last 19 games to raise his average to .308 (28-for-91) on the year…Restmeyer was named to the NE10 weekly honor roll for the third time this season on Monday...Saint Rose is 12-1 when leading after 6.0 innings and 10-4 when it scores in the first inning…The Golden Knights are hitting .305 (121-for-397) with runners in scoring position.

Scouting Franklin Pierce (22-10): The Ravens come to the Capital Region after taking three of four from Stonehill in a weekend series in Rindge, N.H...Sophomore second basemen Randy Flores tops the Franklin Pierce regulars with a .347 batting average, one of eight members of the Ravens lineup that is hitting better than .300 this spring…Sophomore shortstop Ian Battipaglia leads the team with five home runs, 35 RBI, and 31 runs scored…Junior center fielder Joel Lara is tied for second in the NE10 with 24 steals…In eight starts this season, sophomore right-hander Kyle Roche holds a 1.88 ERA while striking out 68 over 48.0 innings…Roche's 11.57 strikeouts per nine innings is the second-best rate in the conference.

Looking Ahead: The Golden Knights head to West Haven, Conn. for doubleheaders on Saturday and Sunday against New Haven. Franklin Pierce returns home to welcome Northeast Division-leading Southern New Hampshire for a four-game series that begins Friday and wraps Sunday.
