Last Time Out: The College of Saint Rose took both ends of last Saturday's doubleheader to earn a split in the weekend series with host Northeast-10 Conference rival Pace University. The Golden Knights received some outstanding pitching to take the opener 2-0 and then bounced back from a 4-1 deficit to win the finale 6-4. Junior right-hander Cameron Flynn tossed 5.0 innings of three-hit ball to pick up the win and sophomore left-hander Carson Stewart hurled 2.0 hitless innings with four strikeouts to lead Saint Rose in the first game. Meanwhile, seven different players had one hit apiece. In the finale, Saint Rose scored four times in the sixth to take a 5-4 lead before adding an insurance run in the seventh. Freshman second baseman Vince Venditti wound up 3-for-4 while freshman left fielder James Ward and freshman designated hitter Nathan Toms both finished 2-for-5. Ward also scored a pair of runs, while sophomore right fielder Josh Myers had two RBI.
 
Last Meeting: Le Moyne upended Saint Rose 6-2 in a first-round NE10 Championship game on May 11 of last year in Syracuse.
 
Scouting Saint Rose (13-19/6-6 NE10): The Golden Knights are 2-6 in one-run games, but 4-0 in two-run games this spring…They have recorded at least 10 hits in five of their last 11 contests…Three statistical qualifiers are hitting above .300 including junior first baseman Jack McDonald and sophomore catcher Derek Haughey who are batting .319 and .317 respectively…McDonald leads the Golden Knights with 23 RBI and 27 runs scored…Haughey has driven in 20 runs…Ward is hitting at a .301 clip and tops the squad with a .402 on-base percentage…On the mound, sophomore right-hander Randall Alejo is 1-2 with a 3.29 ERA…He has fanned 43 throughout 38.1 innings of work and is holding opponents to a .229 batting average…Graduate student righty Anthony Amoroso is 2-4 with a 3.55, while junior right-hander Jared Restmeyer is 5-2 behind a 4.19 ERA…Another junior right-hander in Cameron Flynn owns a 1-1 record with a 2.63 ERA.
 
Scouting Le Moyne (19-14/8-3 NE10): The Dolphins arrive in the Capital Region off Thursday's 2-1, 12 inning setback at league rival Southern Connecticut State…The loss snapped a six-game win streak…Graduate student utility Michael Smith was named the NCBWA East Region Hitter of the Week and junior right-hander Jacob Marshall was tabbed the Pitcher of the Week on Wednesday…Five players come into the weekend hitting over .300 for the Dolphins…Graduate student infielder Drew Fureno is batting .369, while senior catcher Ty Syta is hitting .364 and tops the squad with 41 RBI and a 1.116 OPS…Marshall is 5-1 with a 3.36 ERA on the year…He is holding opposing hitters to a .202 batting average and has fanned 78 in a team-leading 53.1 innings of work…Marshall stands 11th in the nation with 13.16 K's per-9 innings…Sophomore lefty Max Parker is 5-2 with a 3.58 ERA.
 
Looking Ahead: Saint Rose is back home Tuesday to host Franklin Pierce in a noon doubleheader for a make-up from this past Wednesday. Meanwhile, Le Moyne hosts league rival American International for a pair of games this upcoming Wednesday.
