Saint Rose in the NE10 Championship: The Golden Knights have advanced to the NE10 Championship in 18 of their 22 years of league membership although the tournament was canceled last year. Saint Rose has made seven semifinal appearances (2003, 2005, 2007, 2008, 2011, 2013, and 2017) and advanced to the 2007 championship game that Bentley won 71-61. The Golden Knights most recent appearance came in 2017-18 when they fell 68-65 in a quarterfinal encounter at Bentley. Saint Rose garnered an NCAA berth that season as well, advancing to the East Regional semifinal.

Last Time Out: Saint Rose held off a late American International rally for the second consecutive night to close out its regular season campaign on a high note with Tuesday's 73-68 conference victory in Springfield. The Golden Knights owned a 20-point second half lead for the second straight night against the Yellow Jackets only to see it dwindle in the final moments. Freshman forward Shane O'Dell led Saint Rose with an efficient game-high of 28 points behind 12-for-19 shooting. He also pulled down seven rebounds and came up with a pair of steals. Sophomore forward Eric Fleming contributed 16 points and six boards, while freshman guard Tray Alexander added 14 points.

Head Coach Mike Perno on Tuesday's win at American International: "It is never easy playing back-to-back nights especially in the NE10 and against the same opponent, but I thought our guys played very hard and handled their business. We played terrific on the defensive end, especially in the first half, and now we need to get some rest and get ready to go Friday at home for the NE10 playoffs against a very good Southern New Hampshire team."

Last Meeting (1/22/22 in Manchester, N.H. - Box Score): Southern New Hampshire got off to a quick start to upend Saint Rose 83-65.
