NEWBURGH, N.Y.- The College of Saint Rose cross country teams each earned respective fourth place finishes at the Mount Saint Mary College Knight Invitational today.
Sophomore
Elizabeth Mattair led the Golden Knights in the women's 5K, clocking a 27:53.7 to take 16th place. Sophomore
Brooke Iannone was next to cross with a time of 28:24.9 in 18th place.
Sophomores
Matthew Waruch and
Kyle Ostrander earned top-20 finishes as well in the men's 8K. Waruch (28:20.3) took 14th while Ostrander (29:21.1) earned 18th. Freshman
Robert Deck was strong as well with a 29:58.6 for 23rd.
Looking forward, the Golden Knights next compete on Saturday, October 22 at the Hamilton Tune-Up.
