SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y.- The College of Saint Rose men's and women's cross country teams each placed sixth, respectively, at the RPI Harvest Festival Invitation at Pitney Meadow Farms.
Juniors
Matthew Waruch and
Kyle Ostrander each earned top-80 finishes for the Golden Knights in the men's 8k. Â Waruch crossed in 71st in 27:51.0, while Ostrander took 78th in 28:24.6.
Freshman
Stephanie James was the top performer for Saint Rose in the women's 6k, as she claimed 30th behind a time of 24:01.8.
Junior
Brooke Iannone had a strong run as well. Her time of 24:50.0 was good for 39th place.
Looking forward, the Golden Knights will next compete in Saturday's Fred Pavlich Invitational at Bard College.
