ITHACA, N.Y. –
Erika Fuentes grabbed medalist honors for the second time throughout four events this fall by firing a two-day 148 (+4) at the Ithaca Invitational that wrapped up today at the par-72, 5,642-yard RaNic Golf Club.

Fuentes stood second following Saturday's opening round 76 (+4), but carded an even 72 today behind a pair of birdies and 14 pars to edge Ithaca's Rheanna DeCrow by one shot.

Overall, the host Bombers occupied the second through fourth spots on the leaderboard to cruise to the team title by 34 shots ahead of second place Westminster College. The Golden Knights finished fourth behind a two-day, 710 team score.

Kaylie Klemme followed Fuentes for Saint Rose with a two-round 175 (+31) to finish 17th, ahead of the average 179.66 two-round score the course played to throughout the weekend.

In addition,
Makenna Cutri and
Angelika Stevens recorded scores of 191 (+47) and 196 (+52) to wind up 21st and 22nd respectively, while
Lauren Ernst carded a 247 in only her fourth collegiate tournament appearance.

Looking ahead, the Golden Knights will spend this week preparing for their own Fall Invitational on Friday and Saturday at Pinehaven Country Club in Guilderland.
