Last Meeting (11/6/19): Adelphi entered the match ranked #6 in the country and upended The College of Saint Rose 2-0 on Long Island. Alessandro Corti and senior forward Paolo Marciano struck four minutes apart midway through the first period for the Panthers. Senior back Andrew Lule nearly got the Golden Knights on the board, but his shot ricocheted off the cross bar five minutes after Marciano made it 2-0.
 
Last Time Out: Saint Rose comes into this afternoon's regular-season finale off Saturday's 2-1 triumph at #23 ranked American International. The Golden Knights bounced back from an early 1-0 deficit with a pair of goals eight minutes apart late in the opening period. In the process, they snapped the Yellow Jacket's three-match win streak. Sophomore midfielder Josh Elliott tied the game at the 35:35 mark. Freshman back Lucas Malmquist then finished an Elliott feed with 43:24 expired after the latter lined a low cross from the right flank that Malmquist tipped in after positioning himself near the goal line.
 
Head Coach John Ciano on Saturday's victory: "I'm really proud of our performance today. Any time you beat a nationally ranked team on the road, you have to be happy about it. AIC is a talented, well-coached team that is very dangerous. I thought our possession was very sharp and we defended well as a unit for the entire 90 minutes."
 
Scouting Saint Rose (8-5-2/7-3-1 NE10): Saint Rose has a young squad with 25 underclassmen listed on its roster…The Golden Knights have now won six of their last seven and are 5-2-1 on the road this autumn…Saint Rose has outscored its last seven opponents 15-5…Freshman Tomas Rozman stands second among all NE10 goalkeepers with an .848 save percentage and a 0.74 goals-against-average…Eleven different players have found the back of the net this fall…Elliott and freshman back Victor Boje Henriksen lead the team with six goals each…Elliott was named to the NE10 weekly honor roll Monday.
 
Senior Day: Seniors David Hamlin, Oskar Aaströem, Colin Sherlock, and Lule will be honored prior to today's match in recognition of their outstanding intercollegiate careers.
 
Scouting Adelphi (9-5-1/8-3-0 NE10): The Panthers have dropped two consecutive 1-0 matches to a pair of nationally ranked teams after winning their previous eight contests…They fell at #23 American International on Wednesday, and to visiting #5 Franklin Pierce this past Saturday…Sophomore forward Rodrigo Descalzo Rocca stands second in the NE10 with a team-leading 14 goals on the year…Six of those have been game-winners…Marciano and senior midfielder Filippo Peri have seven and five goals respectively…Junior Daniel De La Heras has started 10 of Adelphi's 15 matches between the posts…He owns a 1.12 GAA and has won eight of his starts.

Diversity: The Saint Rose roster features student-athletes from six countries including; Sweden, Germany, Denmark, Iceland, and Australia, in addition to the United States.
 
Up Next: The 2021 NE10 Championship Tournament gets underway with quarterfinal action Saturday at the home sites of the higher seeds. The eight-team bracket is expected to be announced either tonight or tomorrow morning.
