Setting The Stage: The College of Saint Rose is the third seed and American International the second in this year's Northeast-10 Conference Championship Tournament…Today's winner will advance to Saturday's Championship Final to face top seed Franklin Pierce or fourth seed Southern New Hampshire…That match will be played at the higher seed with the kickoff time to be determined.

Last Meeting (10/30/21 at AIC): The Golden Knights bounced back from an early 1-0 deficit with a pair of goals eight minutes apart late in the first half to upend host and #23 American International. In the process, the Golden Knights snapped the Yellow Jacket's three-match win streak and handed them their lone home setback this fall. Sophomore midfielder Josh Elliott tied the match with his team-leading sixth strike of the year with 35:35 expired. Freshman back Lucas Malmquist then finished an Elliott feed at the 43:24 mark for the game-winner after the latter lined a low cross from the right flank that Malmquist tipped in after positioning himself near the goal line.

Last Time Out: Senior midfielder Oskar Aaströem scored the game-winner with less than three minutes left in the second overtime period to propel Saint Rose to Saturday's thrilling 3-2 NE10 Championship Quarterfinal victory against visiting sixth seed Le Moyne. The Golden Knights twice came back from one-goal deficits to record their third consecutive come-from-behind win and thus advance to a second straight NE10 Championship semifinal.

Head Coach John Ciano on Saturday's victory: "I'm really proud of the resiliency and character of our group. We never gave up and played through the final whistle. This was a special moment for our program and school, and I am just really happy we were able to come away with the dramatic win."
