Last Meeting (11/16/19): These two teams last faced each other in the 2019 Northeast-10 Conference Championship Final where the host Greyhounds prevailed 2-1. Assumption struck midway through each half, before Filippo Bellú; put the Golden Knights on the board in the final three minutes. Saint Rose generated a slight 12-11 shot advantage throughout the tightly contested match.
 
Last Time Out: Saint Rose is coming off last Saturday's 2-0 triumph against visiting league rival Saint Anselm. Sophomore midfielder Josh Elliott continued to display his scoring acumen as he found the back of the net in his third straight contest with the game-winner at the 35:52 mark. Sophomore forward Nico Faretta delivered an insurance marker with 63:59 elapsed. Freshman keeper Tomas Rozman recorded eight saves and helped direct a defensive unit that manufactured its third clean sheet.
 
Head Coach John Ciano on last Saturday's victory: "Today was a solid team performance against a tough and organized Saint Anselm side. We scored two very good goals and managed the game well through our possession."
 
Scouting Saint Rose (4-4-2/3-2-1 NE10): The Golden Knights have a young squad with 25 underclassmen listed on their roster…They extended their unbeaten streak to three matches with last Saturday's win…Saint Rose is 1-1-2 in overtime this autumn…Freshman back Victor Boje Henriksen paces the team with four goals…Elliott has three to his credit and freshman forward Erick Radtke has a pair…Rozman was named the NE10 Goalkeeper and Rookie of the Week on Monday…He has surrendered just three goals throughout 401 minutes that span four matches on the year.
 
Senior Day: Oskar Aaströem, Andrew Lule, Colin Sherlock, and David Hamlin will be honored prior to today's kickoff in recognition of their outstanding careers in a Saint Rose uniform.
 
Scouting Saint Anselm (1-9-1/1-6-0 NE10): The Greyhounds arrive in the Capital Region off of Wednesday's 2-1 nonleague setback to visiting Molloy…Freshman forward Vanilton Xavier tied it with eight minutes remaining, but Molloy struck with the game-winner a mere 16 seconds into the first overtime session…Senior midfielder Kevin Hernandez is the top scoring threat…His seven goals account for 53.8 percent of the team's offensive production…Freshman Francisco Teixeira has played the majority of minutes between the posts…He owns a 2.79 goals-against-average.
 
Diversity: The Saint Rose roster features student-athletes from six countries including; Sweden, Germany, Denmark, Iceland, and Australia, in addition to the United States.
 
Up Next: Both sides have home league matches Tuesday. The Golden Knights host Stonehill at 6:00 pm, while the Greyhounds face Southern Connecticut State at 7:00 pm in Worcester, Mass.
